Description
We are assisting an ASE member in seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative for a full-time, 6-month onsite contract in Farmington Hills, MI. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and takes pride in delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers
- Act as a liaison between sales, operations, and office functions to ensure efficient service
- Manage the full lifecycle of customer purchase orders (POs), including:
- Order entry via email and customer portals
- Releasing orders to factories
- Monitoring shipment status
- Invoicing and issue resolution
- Handle a high volume of customer accounts and inquiries with a strong sense of urgency
- Update and manage customer requested delivery dates accurately and timely
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Factory, Warehouse, and Quality teams to resolve issues and support customer needs
- Provide weekly reports and updates to the sales team
- Troubleshoot customer concerns and ensure prompt, effective solutions
Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service experience (semiconductor industry experience preferred)
- Experience working with high-volume accounts and order management
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proven ability to multitask and manage priorities independently
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a “can-do” mindset
Preferred Experience
- Experience with SAP and/or QuickBooks
- Familiarity with consignment accounts and WIP platforms
- Experience working across multiple time zones
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver’s license
