We are assisting an ASE member in seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative for a full-time, 6-month onsite contract in Farmington Hills, MI. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and takes pride in delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers
Act as a liaison between sales, operations, and office functions to ensure efficient service
Manage the full lifecycle of customer purchase orders (POs), including:
Order entry via email and customer portals
Releasing orders to factories
Monitoring shipment status
Invoicing and issue resolution
Handle a high volume of customer accounts and inquiries with a strong sense of urgency
Update and manage customer requested delivery dates accurately and timely
Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Factory, Warehouse, and Quality teams to resolve issues and support customer needs
Provide weekly reports and updates to the sales team
Troubleshoot customer concerns and ensure prompt, effective solutions
Qualifications
2+ years of customer service experience (semiconductor industry experience preferred)
Experience working with high-volume accounts and order management
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Proven ability to multitask and manage priorities independently
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a “can-do” mindset
Preferred Experience
Experience with SAP and/or QuickBooks
Familiarity with consignment accounts and WIP platforms
Experience working across multiple time zones
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Valid driver’s license
